Yes, this works, but if you back out of the user preset list the display defaults back to the name of the factory preset it was created from, which is misleading. Especially if you have 2 or 3 user presets made from the same effect.

I am having the same frustration. Thanks for posting this. Hopefully there will be a resolution or I am going to return the pedal.
