After reading posts on connecting IOS devices, I'm here to tell you that it WILL connect to your amps especially the Mkii 120.
I spent all afternoon grinding and praying it wasn't my device, rather, simply unplugging and restarting both my iPad (7th Gen.) and Spider V. I did indeed spend unnecessarily $29.99 on the Apple Lightning Camera Adapter today and was somewhat disgusted because of at least five responses to remedy my connection issue. Not needed!! My iPad is working fine without it. I forgot to mention that I deleted the first Spider Remote and switched out a simple lightning cable and PRESTO!! I've got a REAL tone machine and I tell you all I'm on my way to developing MY sound.
Keep at it, it'll work.
