    Echorec

Hi Has anybody managed to get close to the Catlibread Echorec or Strymon echoes? I know there are similar models in the HX Stomp but so far they fall well short of these two. I've tried stacking and manually setting the delay times but there is a quality and warmth to Echorec and Volante I haven't been able to nail. But I'm an echo nut. Any help from surf and spaghetti Western fans appreciated. Chrs MK
  3. Hi Am I correct in saying that you can't assign the Tuner/Tap to a footswitch within a particular preset ie only available in one slot leaving all other slots free to assign to other functions? My understanding is it seems to be a global assign and then you are stuck with it on all presets effectively limiting the HX stomp to 2 footswiches (plus external x 2). Ideally I'd locate the Tuner/Tap in one preset only and come back to it as needed during a set rather than it being always on 1,2 or 3 (or external 1|2). Thanks for any advice
  4. Nice work Elevator. An elegant solution for the 3 switch owners like me. Thanks again Mak
  5. Ha-yes! So lock in those first 6- just like an analogue pedal board without the knobs........ I'll let you know how it goes-but don't hold your breath! Cheers
  6. You have actually hit on a really neat and ridiculously simple solution. FWIW I have a HX Stomp If I only use six presets and only want to use up one footswitch ie don't want to scroll backwards with another foot switch I can just duplicate the same 6 presets through all remaining slots, and then scroll down through 6, then 1-6 again all the way to the end when it will cycle from number 1 again. Very cool. I try and avoid using the extra 2 foot switch option simply to make The HX a grab and go all in one solution. Thanks again for all the replies
  7. OK Thanks It would be nice for those who don't use stacks of set lists/presets and just have say 4-6 banks of presets. This would only use up one button to scroll through and locate the preset between songs. No complaints tho'- an amazingly versatile architecture. Snapshot stacking is fabulous (if you can remember how you set it up) Thanks Rd2rk for the reply MK

    Restrict prests

Hi Is it possible to limit the number of presets available eg If I only need 4 presets- to define this so I only scroll through 4 rather than the whole list of empty slots? cheers and thanks in advance MK
  9. Thanks for the reply. I followed the update procedure and release notes and I have 3.15 HX Stomp and 3.15 HX Edit. I was expecting the preset list to be populated with factory examples and the mics to correspond to the documentation My version doesn't-see attached. Thanks
  10. Hi I updated firmware and HX Edit to 3.15. There are no presets. One mic model (Studio) The new Line 6 amp Ventoux is in there. Am I missing something? Cheers and thnx in advance
