OK thanks for the heads up. I want to add that: Since discovering and exploring the editor.. and learning how to use it!... IT'S FREAKIN' AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT- tweak many parameters that aren't accessible on the unit interface. I recommend ALL POD EXPRESS OWNERS TO DOWNLOAD IT.

Well no, I can make 21 new presets - the factory ones remain in the non-preset mode - I THINK!!

When I restore global (restart), the ON light goes back to white but when I restore from backup, the light is blue, which to me indicates the blue version is later update. BUT.. I HAVE the latest firmware. When I reopen EDIT app it doesn't renew the unit nor does it say to update.. I want the blue light back!

I THINK I know what's happening here: I thought the factory presets would stay put since they're on another "page" to the custom presets - but no - any new ones I make overwrite them. Damn, so it's one or the other? I can make 14 custom presets using the blue and red and leave the white area alone to maintain the factory presets?

Used Editor to save my custom presets - now all the factory sets are gone! The colors still come on but no diff in sounds. What up?

I said change the STRINGS to OCTAVE UP. (Leave OCTAVE DOWN as is)

Where is the suggestion forum? Thought I saw title for it before - can't find it now. How about in a firmware update - if poss - change the Strings to Octave up - cos it's pretty, pretty... pretty useless anyway. Octave up would be handy for doubling as a guitar sound..

First off.. There's no separate Pod Express Bass Forum is there? Is there an assign to the unit to globally have all cabs off for when plugging into a real amp, so that I don't have to keep dialing them all off one at a time every time I use an amp? If not, can I assign cab off as presets? Thanks muchly in advance.

I'm a noob Line 6'er. Line 6 support guy told me to download HX librarian cos I want to know what the factory presets are in the white areas of the Pod Express Bass. The app opens (PC), I can sign in, but all buttons are greyed, nothin' doin'.. Thought I might get a quicker response here.. Isn't HX for another effects unit... Helix maybe? Support previously told me there's no way of saving presets from the Pod Express.. Uhhhmmmm???

Nobody's replies have yet anything to do with my query, furthermore, if I want to make a preset with an amp model, what's the point of dialing 6 o'clock (no amp)?

I was expecting the factory presets to be multi effects but they just seem to be the same as if u just dial thru the amps?
