  1. hey thanks so much for all that info, I really appreciate all of that. I'm going to save all that in case I need it in the future. I ended up taking it in to where I bought it from and they tried all different leads, different ports, and different machines and managed to get the update going. I hope to never have to do that again. I've played line 6 for donkeys years ever since it started, am a big fan, but damn! that rigmoral for updating really had me wishing Id gone for something else. I'm glad I didn't, I've just spent the past hour listening to all the presets, getting some nostalgia vibes and there are some really nice presets. Am a bit scared to go looking for downloads, I think I will stick to working on my own. I really wanted to go look for other people's sounds too. Anyway, thanks somebody else, I appreciate it immensely.
  2. I'm a little late to the pod go party. I Bought a new pod go and started it up today. Downloaded the updater and pod go edit. Followed the instructions, shutting down all other programs that my pod go could be attached to, itunes, spotify, gaming. Turned off the windows memory thing it said to. I read heaps of forum posts where there is quite a lot of people who were having the update issues. I watched youtube clips. I thought I had it all figured out. My Pod go seems to be bricked to the red and black pod shape with the Line 6 and Pod go in the middle and it won't budge. I've searched posts again for the same kind of thing, pushed simultaneous buttons while turning it on. It is stuck. The other problem is turning that windows memory thing off and trying to turn it back on after, messed my computer up. I tried deleting all line 6 things and it wouldn't work. I tried to recover it from a previous point and it rended my computer useless. I've had to reset the whole thing and start the long journey of reinstalling all programs. What I don't understand is why after all this time, a fix hasn't been made. I've done heaps of reading over the past few hours. I don't know what to do. The machine doesn't work. I used to be a big fan, used line 6 products my whole musician life pretty much, but this has really grated my cheese. I have opened a ticket. Anyone have any idea how to get it unstuck?
