  1. I have no problem with a learning curve as long as the terms they used are explained and defined. As I said, a comprehensive glossary of terms would have been so easy to add. Using a term and assuming the newbie knows what they are talking about or defining it later in the manual makes it tougher. I'll get it.
  2. Ok, but here's is where I'm at; what is a snapshot? He used the term but never explained what it is. That is where I'm at. With a comprehensive glossary of terms I could move quicker. I'll get it but even the beginner videos make a lot of assumptions and it moves pretty quick for me. I originally looked at the Fractal FM3 but once the manual admitted to me having to have some pro audio experience I decided against it. I'll go down some rabbit holes but not the deep dark ones like the Fractal. :)
  3. Well, I'm going to have to take this real slow as this is my first foray into multiple fx processors in a number of years. As I am slow on picking things up from manuals the first thing that is sorely lacking is a comprehensive glossary of terms for a newbie like me and it would go a long way to getting started. Does anyone know of a YT videos for complete newbies? I mean a real newbie. There was one on YT that looked promising then all of a sudden he was talking fast and the footswitch lights were flashing and I was lost. Gotta be something out there that takes it slow and easy. Thanks.
  4. I have it loaded to my MacBook Pro but I am not sure how it interfaces with the Stomp whether it's bluetooth or hard wired.
  5. I have a Samsung tablet which I guess is Android. I am brand new to tablets so I am in uncharted territory.
  6. I have my Helix Stomp and my TC Play Acoustic. Now I have to figure out how to connect them for my various rig sizes. First and smallest rig (The Busker) - Fishman Loudbox Performer mounted to a hand truck with a Bluetti 180 battery. Second medium rig (Larger Busker and small parties) - JBL PRX ONE with PRO CONNECT run on either 120V AC or Bluetti 180 battery Largest rig (Party Time!) - 2- JBL PRX ONE's on PRO CONNECT run on AC 120V (the Bluetti would be pushing it for a 2-3 hr gig) The one I did not mention was the "Tiny Rig" which is just me and one acoustic guitar wearing well worn clothing for the struggling musician look. :) I am a person that has to have all the right length cables for their application and accessories. Here goes. Fun times!
  7. BTW, I would want to be able to run all connections (except instruments) in balanced mode, either XLR or TRS.
  8. Thanks. I am a solo vocalist and accomplished guitar player. I want something that gives my guitars a great sound as well as easy programmability. The output will go directly into a JBL PRX ONE stick PA https://jblpro.com/en-US/products/prx-one. I/O leveling ability will be important for the best sound (to me anyway as well as cabinet modeling). It would be nice to be able to control some functions from a (wireless bluetooth) mic stand Samsung tablet but not a deal breaker. If the Stomp doesn't look like it will do it. I believe that is my wish list. Thanks again!
  9. Ok, I just ordered a L6 HX Effects. So far so good. One thing I missed is because the output of the HX will go direct into the PA and with no amp models on board it will sound flat. Ok, L6 seems to have me covered with the Helix Native. Alright, so far so good. Now I need to know if Helix Native will run on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ and how does it interface with my HX Effects. In short, how does all this stuff blend together harmoniously? BTW, you will be conversing with an absolute newbie. :) Thanks
