I tried update mode. I tried a factory reset. The thing just won't turn on. I tried with batteries. I tried with a 9V in.

I was excited to try out the desktop editor for the POD Express so I downloaded and successfully installed: POD Express Edit 1.00 Installer.exe To use it I was prompted that a firmware update was required for the pedal. I accepted it. I had my pedal powered and connected to my computer. The lights went out. Now the pedal does not work AT ALL. Doesn't work plugged into the computer, with any power source............nothing. Dead pedal. Help!
