Hello, I'd like to use some of the reverbs and delays from my pod hd live in the FX loop of my amp. I won't be using pods distortion effects in front of the amp or amp simulations so I have no need for the 4cm. Would this be the correct connection for my setup: Guitar -> amp guitar in -> amp fx loop send -> pod fx return l/mono -> pod 1/4" out l/mono -> amp fx loop return? I also have the line/stomp switch set to stomp and the amp/line switch set to amp. Thank you for your help! Edit: Also what do I need to setup from the pod side? I have the FX loop block in front of my patch with send 0.0db return 0.0db and mix 100%.

What output mode should I set the pod to if my signal chain is: guitar --> pod hd guitar in --> pod output to audio interface input --> audio interface to a pc through usb (sometimes I use it like this at my friends place while recording). Is it still studio even if I don't use the pod as an interface?

Hey all! I have a big problem with my tone while recording on a pod hd 500 through usb. There is this wierd scratchy kind of a vinyl like sound underneath everything I play. I'd appreciate it alot if you could take a quick listen and tell me if it's normal with the unit and if it's not what could be some possible causes for it. This has not been a problem while using the pod live on the FX loop of my tube amp. Thanks for the help!
