Hey guys. I encountered this problem while trying to update from version 3.01 to 3.1 but the suggestions above don’t work for me. Line 6 Updater doesn’t find my Helix. I’ve tried deinstalling the Helix in the device manager and deinstalling any and all Line 6 software from my computer multiple times, but to no avail. I tried installing HX Edit (along with drivers and Line 6 Updater of course) both in versions 3.01 as well as 3.10 and I’m STUCK. By the way: The USB cable and port I’m using work just fine on another audio interface I have.
Suffice to say I’m kinda mad at Line 6 that this kind of thing can even happen. Anyone got any suggestions? Is there anything else I might try? I’d greatly appreciate anything you guys can come up with!
Best of all I FINALLY have a gig coming up on Sunday and first band practice in half a year because where I live, we weren’t allowed to do this kind of thing this whole time. Wrong timing for an update to mangle my Helix. Thank, Line 6...
