  1. As the title says, normal mode is a little loud when cranked. Low volume mode is ridiculously loud (like it always was) at the same volume. The amp was working fine for a couple of years after a bought it used, then one day at practice it didn't work right any more. :-) I figure I have a bad tube. Any tips on identifying the problem? I'd like to avoid having to take it to a repair shop. I have an authorized service center in Denver, but if I can swap some glass I'd love to save the drive time and the moolah. Thanks!
  2. Title says it. The tuning knob on my jtv-69 falls out of the plastic cylinder. The part that goes in the cylinder is conical which makes me think it was pressure seated but now it barely hangs on by friction. Was it originally glued? Is there a downside to gluing it now? Anyone else had this problem? Suggestions on how to fix it without glue? Thanks!
