  1. I have just purchased my 3rd Variax. I have a 300, 700 and now a JTV-69S. I bought it from PMT Online on 3rd October and it was delivered on the 8th, a day late. Everything looked OK, but there was fret buzz on the 1st string all along the neck. I have a guy who sets up and repairs all my guitars and he does the initial set up to my requirements. I assumed it just needed a little tweak to sort out. Unfortunately, what it needed was a complete fret dress due to a number of high frets. I reported the problem to PMT and it seems the only solution is to send it back, which means I lose the guitar for god knows how long, or try for a replacement and maybe experience further difficulties. I'm disgusted that the guitar was sent out in this condition in the first place. I trust my guitar tech, so I've asked him to proceed with the repair. I asked PMT if they would refund me the cost, but they refuse and Line6 now say I will be invalidating the warranty. Has anyone else experienced this? Cheers David
