  1. Well, the hub turned out to be the problem. Plugged the HX One directly into the laptop, opened the librarian, and sent some midi commands from my controller. The HX One passed the information to the next pedal while being also connected via USB. Thanks! I can work around this problem. I like to have all the USB devices in my rack connected to a hub, so I only need a single USB cable to connect them to their various editors.
  2. I encountered something I not encountered with any other pedal that is midi capable via 5-pin din or USB. I have the HX One plugged into a USB hub in my rack. I use USB mainly for the librarian function. I also have the pedal connect to other pedal via 5-pin midi cables. All works perfectly, except when I connect the HX One to the computer via USB. Once I make the USB connection, the pedal stops transmitting midi information to pedals down the line. As soon as I disconnect the USB connect, midi cable functionality returns. Is this a bug or a feature? Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the reply c00;katz. What you suggested is what I wound up doing. I have one external switch assigned to flux and one to tap tempo. I wan to change a setting that is different from the flux settings, I am using the midi switchable parameters. It works just as well.
  4. The HX One can use two external foot switchesFS3 and FS4. You can assign the foot switches to either tap, prev/next, or flux in settings. However, it does not seem possible to have flux assignments in a preset assigned to either FS3 or FS4. For example, have a gain change assigned to FS3 and level assigned to FS4. When FS3 and FS4 are assigned to flux, it seems that one FS simply duplicates the action of the other FS. Does anybody know a way to have flux assignments triggered by a specific FS? I could do this with midi and parameters, but I thought it would be nice to get foot switches to do this.
  5. I can scroll through presets with my RJM Mastermind, which is definitely useful. I would find it even more useful to scroll through all the effects in an effects category via MIDI. I have my HX One in a rack, so scrolling through effects with the effect knob is often not practical. This feature would help a lot with the process of discovering new sounds and creating presets. I in a similar way that MIDI CCs and values can choose the view type (Home, Preset, Tuner), It would be nice to have a similar midi function to choose the effect category (Ccx, 0=distortion, 1=dynamics, 2=modulation, etc.) Then add another MIDI CC to scroll through the individual effects. Thanks.
