  1. So.. Now i got monitoring fixed.. But i have more questions :) In HD EDIT, there is a mixer, level faders for path A and path B, is A instrument and B xlr? The thing is, i have 2 audiotracks in logic, one left guitar and one right guitar. I play a riff for the right guitar and do the same for the right guitar. So when im recording the left guitar sound comes from both monitorspeakers but when i press play in logic its only sound in the left speaker, and it will be the same when i record the right guitar, both speakers sounding when i record and only the right speaker when i press play in logic, so after this its stereo (both tracks are monotracks and left pan to left in the logic mixer and right pan to right). Is there any way to just hear the left speaker when i record the left guitar? Pan in HD EDIT? Level faders? Also, when i record the guitar its way more volume compared to how loud the guitar is when i listen to it.. (The riff i just recorded). But lets say i bounce the two guitarriffs (left and right) and listen to either the aiff file or the mp3 file, the guitars sound much loader than when i listen in Logic.. I know its silly questions but after playing with audiointerface and plugins, this is way over my understanding, right now it is for sure.. But the guitarsounds is so much better so i will not give up! So if anyone feel to tell me about the above, i would be very grateful.. Cant promise it ends here tho ;)
  2. I really appreciate your input! And now i have sold my audio interface and left only with my POD HD desktop so now i dont have any other options than learning my POD :)
  3. Well, the thing is following: Ive set up my POD HD desktop as audio device on my mac and in Logic, no problem there. But when i hit rec in Logic and start to play/record the guitarsound sounds kind of double, but when i play what i just recorded it sounds ok, its like im hearing two guitars when i record it. I know i had this issue a few years ago when i had my UX2 as audio interface but i think i managed to sort that in podfarm, it was smth with "send" i think but i cant find that option in HD EDIT.. Dont get me wrong, i do see the inputs and can switch to guitar, mic and same (what same is i cant figure out tho) and the option with global, preset, 22k, 40k and so on i also dont understand really.. Ofcourse this is smth that will work just fine, i just have to sort it out. I almost gave up and returned to my audio interface and plugins but i managed to think it over as there are huge difference between the sound quality POD HD > Plugins, so i will hang in there until this works. Also, do i have the same possibilities in HD EDIT as on directly on the POD?
  4. Still, Im not able to fix this.. I'll guess i have to give it some time, and perhaps have some patience
  5. Many thanks, really appreciated!
  6. So here i am then trying to use my POD HD as audio interface with Logic. I will try to make this as short as possible. 1) At first I used my Apogee One as audio interface and then connected my POD with Apogee, from POD's outputs in to my Apogee. Both POD and Apogee was USB connected and as I could choose audio interface in Logic it was no problem. It worked fine until one day there was no sound what so ever, not from Logic or from the mac itself (iTunes etc). So then i disconnected Apogee and said to myself, why not just use POD as audio interface. I shared my time way back with UX1, UX2 and also the mighty UX8 and i had no problem. After the switch the sound was there again and all was fine. 2) I want to record guitars and basses in Logic and then i want to connect my microphone in the POD HD XLR input.. So.. How do i get to hear my voice? How do choose the XLR input in POD HD edit? I cant hear a thing in Logic. Can i use both inputs, one for the guitars and the second for the microphone and always have it like that? 3) There are situations i only want to use POD HD as audio interface and with no specific amp/fx sounds, just the guitarsound and then use plugins from Logic - How do I do this? I have really tried to figure this out in the manual, with no luck tho.. Also, Im not a guy who wants to turn knobs everyday, i just want to set my sounds and play, at least now and then, when i got above all set i will try to tweak and use POD HD's full potential. So if anyone can give me a good kick into the right direction here i would appreciate it a lot.
