  1. I haven't been able to find any user experiences with POD'ers using the Fender Expo line array system as their FRFR. I've been eyeing a couple of Alto TS110a's to replace my old PV PA system and double as an FRFR for my HD500 and thought maybe I could just skip the Altos and go to something even more portable like the Fender Expo. Any thoughts from the POD people? Thanks! EDIT: Here's a link to the system on Fender's site: http://www.fender.com/sound-systems/expo/fender-expo-system/product-69482.html
  2. Not sure if Magic Sam's tone on this live version of "Lookin' Good" was lucky creation of some rock 'n' roll magic or if he intended to his (Earl Hooker's) guitar to sound the way it did, but either way, it sounds the balls! The tone sounds similar to my ears to the guitar in the Beatle's "Revolution" though smoother and less raunchy/gnarly. Of course, some of Magic Sam's tone is coming from his fingers and playing style, but there's also guitar/amp magic going on as his studio version doesn't have the same tone. I've got a POD HD500 and a POD xt Pro. Any suggestions in achieving this tone would be appreciated - thanks!
