Thank you Datacommando. I will be able to understand how to balance my preset volumes now.

I'm running my HS Xstomp in the loop of my quickrod using effects only. When I route my preset effects along path B ( parallel) I get full volume but not an optimal effect integration. When I route my effects along path A (series) I get a serious volume drop in the order of 5 to 6 db, even with all effects bypassed. Is this normal and if so how is this dealt with? Thank you
