I see this being discounted everywhere now. Does anyone know why? Maybe a new model on the way or something?

"Hi will have to open the processor .there are 4 screws at the back. inside there is a flesh in the panel it must be removed carefully wiped with alcohol or cleaned with a rubber band from a pencil so that the contacts glisten and insert it back should work . this happens in XT and XT live from oxidation ." Will this work for a Pod HD? My screen is all black pixels - but if i hold it at different angles I can kind of see the correct screen under those black pixels....If so, can this be explained a little more clearly, i dont understand. What exactly is "a flesh in the panel" and where exactly is that? What is a rubber band pencil? Im not sure if these are electronic terms or typos.... thank you
