Was at rehearsals last night and my Jtv59 started acting up. Any time I would switch to a preset on helix which had any reasonable amount of drive/distortion it would immediately feedback and appeared worse with any type of palm muting.. the presets and volumes on the helix had all been previously used without issues.
I switched to MAG pickups and the sound kept dropping in and out. I was connected with variax cable.
The mag pickups sounded like a bad connection.
Any thoughts on the problem.
Maybe dodgy cable, but I haven't had chance to check yet..
Or piezzo issues?
