Is it possible to deactivate the up-and down buttons on the Helix LT?
According to Google, to do this you can enable the "10-button stomp mode" and then use the Command Center within HX Edit to reassign those buttons to functions other than preset/bank switching. However, the Helix LT does not support a dedicated 10-button stomp mode.
The 10-stomp mode is a feature exclusive to the Helix Floor and Helix Rack models, allowing the conversion of the bank up/down footswitches into stomp switches. On the Helix LT, you are limited to using the 8 main footswitches in Stomp Mode for assigning effects.
The option to bypass these buttons completely could easily be implemented with a SW update from Line6, however it seems like this is not possible.
Any workaround?
