I've always used a Korg EXP-2 with my HD-500 and now my HD-500X. I like it because I usually use it to control a rotary speaker sound. The EXP-2 has a volume control on the side of it that I can set the limit with and I can use it with a TRS cable. -Mark Megill Wiener Hill Studio
