I have the same problem on my JTV-69, unfortunately the store I bought the guitar from doesn't have a return policy so i'm stuck with a clicking guitar. It annoys me since it appears on every model except the strat. If you use the alternative tunings the clicks go away. Don't know what to do but it's driving me mad. It feels like it could be a ground/electrical problem.

Hello! Just bought a JTV-69 and I am very happy with the guitar except for one thing: When i play with the modelled guitars there is a popping/crackling sound created when I lightly stroke the strings or when I fingerpick. I have tried to lower the string volume and reflash the firmware but the problem remains. The only model that does not have this issue is the strat model. Has anyone experienced this issue or is my guitar faulty. /sad owner from sweden.
