I'm in the process of configuring the the main rack for my band. I have three XD-V70 receivers I plan on mounting in the middle of a 14 space rack. I have several questions regarding best practices with regard to antennas on these units:
1. Would it be ok to mount the two antennas to each unit and have them all point inward toward parallel to the receivers?
2. Should I daisy chain them and have one pair of antennas out front pointing upward, yet not above the top of the rack?
3. What if I get some LMR195 cable and make some 6' extensions for the antenna pair and mount them up about 7'?
4. At what point do I stop playing around with these configurations and just go with a set of P180 antennas?
Other things to keep in mind... I may have a wireless router in the rack operating at 5Ghz tied to the mixer. Will this affect the receivers?
I'll also have a 2.4Ghz wireless DMX transmitter in the rack... again, will this affect the receivers?
