disturbedheretic Posted August 19, 2016 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Hello everyone, i just bought a helix and had a few questions. There are a few issues i'm having with the tones i've created. First off i am mostly a high gain guy but i also like sparkly dreamy cleans. It seems regardless of my signal path, eq, or guitar that i use the signal always dies off quickly and the higher the note, the faster an internal gate seems to squash it. It's odd....b/c i'm yet to put a gate in any of my presets. Even factory presets do it. Any suggestions??? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ncockerill Posted August 19, 2016 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Just a thought --- have you checked the input block? Gating can be applied there as well. Are you using the Global EQ -- and if so, are there some "abnormal" low-cut/hi-cut settings applied there?
