threemounts
I'm really interested in the Firehawk to run direct on Sunday morning worship but also run it FX only into my FX loop while at home and playing out live. Would you guys recommend the Firehawk or do you think something else would suit me better? In my live rig, I'd really only be using mods & time based fx. When I run direct i'll be running amp models, drives and delays and such... or at least what i'm hoping.. Thanks!
vmoncebaiz
If you're looking at Firehawk you might consider the PodHD500x as well. I think the biggest choice to make between the two is how you set up tones. Firehawk FX uses an smart device App editor for all of its set-up. PodHD has you editing on the unit itself or with a Mac/PC editor. The sounds and I/O on either unit would allow you to run direct on Sundays and use it in the FX loop of your other rig. So to me the bigger factor is what workflow you prefer for dialing in patches.
