Helix floor headphone input issue

Just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem to mine involving the headphone input ?.

Bought my Helix floor June last year, an ex demo model at just a shade under the normal price , and with full warranty.

All was well until a few months later when i plugged in phones for the first time to do some drone editing, only to hear all sorts of random sounds drifting in and out ,and on occasion cutting out all together.

Touching the phones volume or putting my hand anywhere near that panel area affected the sound and made it completely unusable through the headphones.

I don't know with it being ex demo whether it was an issue prior to sale or not, so it is possible that it was sold on to me with the same problem, though not something that i became aware of initially because it wasn't till a few months later when i first plugged in the phones.

I hasten to add that Line 6 US have been excellent and addressed my problem very promptly, so the unit will be sent away for repair here in the UK at the first possible opportunity.

Seems like a 2-3 week turnaround ,but unfortunately i have no 2-3 week window where i'm not playing,  so currently, i just carry on using it regardless.

Had i used the headphones jack on day one, the unit would have been immediately sent back whence it came, and replaced without issue , so another lesson learnt there for me.
