maxm17
Hello smart Line 6 community! I want to use my HXFX pedal (love) to switch on/off my Bogner Red Ecstasy pedal (also love), which has a remote jack for switching. Anyone tried this yet or have any advice on how to set up? Here's what Bogner's manual says about the jack/function: "Remote Jack provides control of the On/Off and Boost functions via a remote switching unit TRS jack wiring: tip=boost function, ring = bypass on/off function, momentary action. " I only want it to control the on/off of the pedal is possible. I already use Exp1 to channel switch my Friedman - works great. Been trying to program and am stumped. Thanks in advance! AdamAndroidFG
Shouldn’t be any different than switching your amps channel really, which I do all the time. looks like you do too. As long as you have a TRS cable and you go into command center, select the switch you want and turn it off and on, I can’t imagine it wouldn’t work. Im assuming you’ve replicated the process? what happens if you take the trs cable out of your amp and put it in the bogner pedal ? How bout if you pull the trs out halfway so it’s one click in? Be a quick way to check. Maybe it’s the whole multi function thing that’s tripping it up- if your only trying to turn it off and on, and it works halfway in, hypothetically it should work with a regular 1/4 inch cable Just guessing here- seems super frustrating man! Good luck
maxm17
Thanks Mr. Android for the support and advice! Ordered a TRS to see what happens. It did not like the standard 1/4" and Bogner had scary language in their manual about stuff breaking if not sending the right signal. Thanks again!
