Dietrm
Curious if anyone else has had a similar issue... I've had my Pod Go for over a year now. I love it. One of the ways I use it is to play audio/backing tracks from my iPhone or iPad into the Aux In of the Pod Go, then headphones out from the Pod Go for listening, as I jam along to the audit/backing tracks from the iPhone or iPad. Everything has worked perfectly with my old iPad and iPhone with lighting connectors, using a lighting to 3.5 mm adapter, and then a 3.5 mm to 1/8" cable into the Aux In on the Pod Go. Just this last week I upgraded to a new iPad Air 4th Gen that now has USB-C instead of lighting jack. I purchased Apples official USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter expecting everything to work just as it did before, however, now I get random static/clicking sounds from the iPad. The audio still plays, but with random clicking/static going on as well. The clicking/static occurs even when iPad is idle, not playing any music. It does not appear to be related to a loose connection because the static does not increase/coincide with lightly jiggling the connections of the USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter. My first thought is that it was a bum adapter, so to test that I connected my headphones to iPad directly using the USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter, and there is no clicking/static with that setup. It seems to only happen when routing thru the Pod Go. Anyone experience something similar, or have any tips? Thanks!
Dietrm
For other's that may have a similar issue, an update... I tried a different brand USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter, and so far so good, no more static/clicking. The new one that seems to work well is "ESR USB Type-C to 3.5 mm Female Headphone Jack Adapter, USB-C to Aux Audio Dongle Cable Compatible with Pixel 4/3/2/XL, Samsung Galaxy Note 10/10 Plus/S20/S20 Plus/S20 Ultra, iPad Pro/Mini 6, Black", for $11 on Amazon. Thicker cable than the Apple one, both connections seem tighter, and most important no static/clicking anymore.
