HX Stomp Simple/Dual Pitch Help

I just took the plunge and bought an HX Stomp. So far I like it. One of the things I was itching to do was to make a few Harmony Patches. I really only need three notes, as the note I’ll be playing on the bass is the lead note. If my top note is E, going down from the top note would B,A, & F, respectively. (Bottom up spells FABE)

The Dual Pitch is responsible for notes A and B, and the Simple Pitch is responsible for F. (Keep thinking E as the top note)

The issue is that when I engage just one of the blocks, I hear the notes in their correct octave. Dual, Simple, doesn’t matter, on their own, no problem. As soon as I engage both, I get notes sounding down an octave from where I’m playing on the neck, and it sounds like mud.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
