StaffK
I sometimes run my old XT through the HD500 for extra sounds but also prefer some of the drives & distortions in the XT. Apart from running from stereo outputs into the 500 Is there any other way to rig these two up so theres no signal or drive/sustain loss, Obvious one would be Pre the other post. Cheers for any advice.
NucleusX
Sounds like you running inputs and outputs in a serial fashion. The HD500 also has an FX loop you could put the XT in, if you haven't already tried it yet. EG: Guitar > HD500 Input > FX Loop Send (L Mono) > XT Input > XT Outputs (L+R Stereo) > HD500 FX Loop Return (L+R Stereo) > HD500 Outputs > Amp. Then you would need to add an FX block in your HD500's signal chain, assigned to the FX Loop, and set your desired Send/Return volume levels to suit.
