  1. short version - Is it possible to send MIDI CC when the tap tempo switched is pressed? long version - I'm using my HX Stomp XL to also control MIDI reverb and delay pedals, which works great on some of those pedals. I'm sending MIDI clock and everything is working. My problem is with one of my pedals, the Eventide Rose. The Rose sounds terrible when receiving MIDI clock and using the modulation function on the pedal.. basically the incoming MIDI clock messes with the pedal's onboard modulation and smears the tones of the repeats. This is the case regardless of MIDI controller used (same thing happens with Disaster Area MIDI Baby 3 for example.. it's a basically a clock issue with that pedal unfortunately). If I disable midi clock receive on the Rose, everything sounds great. I've assigned one of the buttons on the HX stomp XL to send MIDI CC corresponding to "tap tempo" on the Rose, and it works perfectly.. but it's a kind of a drag to have to have a separate tap switch when using that pedal. So my question is, is it possible to assign the HX stomp XL tap tempo foot switch to send MIDI CC when I press? I couldn't find the option in command center unfortunately. Thanks!
  2. thanks lou-kash, I've got it working now using EX1 as you suggest.. perhaps it's not going to be possible using the midi baby as you say, unless I can get the midi baby to continually send CC data from the expression pedal.. sounds like I might just have to rewire this so EX1 controls the volume pedal block. I appreciate your reply.
  3. I'm wondering if there is a way to have the volume block maintain it's last know state when changing snapshots. Currently it will revert to the previous position that the volume block was set to when changing snapshots. I'm using a MidiBaby with an expression pedal to control the volume block via CC, which works great (I use the built in exp1 and exp2 for wet mix and modulation speed via mini expression pedals).. when changing snapshots, the volume block level does not reflect the physical position of the expression pedal which is a bummer. I basically use the HX stomp for modulation and reverb / delays. Snapshots currently choose reverb / delay 1 / delay 2, and FS1-3 toggle modulations. I'm wondering if maybe I need to use the ex1 for use with the volume block.. however controlling it via CC works really well with this setup as I use EX1 and EX2 for other things. Thanks!
