  1. SOLVED! Tech support said to send the unit back for repair. It’s with them now. Marking as solved because I’m pretty sure I won’t get details on hardware repairs made.
  2. Thanks. I’ll contact tech-support next week.
  3. Yeah. Did a full reset, wiping out everything, and it still does it. I think it may be heat related. Thanks for the input though.
  4. Hello. I have a developed a recurring problem with my Helix LT (Firmware 3.11). It doesn’t fully come up after power on. It stays on the Helix splash screen, and has “:-28” in red at the top left of the screen. Of course, in the state, it is completely unusable. I have found a few references to this error on this forum and other forums. But, none of the suggestions contained in those threads have helped. I have tried multiple forms of resets, and even reloaded firmware in safe mode. This morning, after multiple attempts, I finally got it to reload Firmware in safe mode. But, then after powering off and on, the problem returned. Any ideas? Thanks.
  5. Ouch. That’s a bummer. I guess I will have to rethink my layout. Nevertheless, thank you so much for saving me time and frustration with the quick response.
  6. Hello. Can someone please advise me if in (4) stomp / (4) snap mode I can assign different effects to the stomp switches across the (4) different snapshots as long as the stomps exist within the preset? For example, I have a preset called "70's Marshall" with a bunch of different drives, mods, etc. in the chain, and I want to have the (4) accessible stomps to change when the snapshot changes. So, for example on the "Trower" snap, I want access to stomp: univibe, drive, delay, additional reverb. Whereas on the another snap, I may want access to a phaser, different drive, fuzz, etc. Can I do that? It seems like as long as the effects exist within the preset, I should be able to assign them anyway I like across the (4 snaps). However, I haven't been able to get it to work right so far. I've been getting multiple assignments for stomps on the same switch, and other undesired results. Maybe I'm trying to do something that doesn't work, and just seems like it should. I've been researching, and trying different approaches, and figured one of you geniuses might be able to save me some time. Thanks in advance for help.
  7. Thanks guys. I did a factory reset, and it is behaving now. Thanks again for the help.
  8. Hello, I'm a new Helix LT user (previous Pod XT) and am having a hard time working through a snapshot issue. For example, I created a "Bridge of sighs" patch with volume, wah, eq, Uvibe, drive, amp/cab, delay, reverb on a user bank. Set global switches to "Stomp/Snap". Assigned drive to stomp switch 1, eq to stomp switch 2, tried to set up Snapshot switch 1 (verse) as eq off, Uvibe->drive->amp/cab->delay->reverb on, Snapshot 2 (chorus) switch off drive, Snapshot 3 (lead) switch drive back on and also switch on pre-drive "tilt" eq as boost. No workie. After doing every version of what I think should work, one or more of the snapshots is not saved correctly. Either Snap 2 (chorus) still has drive on, or or Snap 1 (verse) has drive off, or lead has eq on but drive off. I've tried setting snapshot edits to either recall or discard. Ensured I'm on the right snapshot before toggling effects on or off, tried not saving, pressing save twice after each change to a snapshot. I've tried every combination I can come up with. No matter what I do, when I go to one of the other snapshots, it's wrong... I've read for hours on it, and watched YouTube explainations of how to do it. But I must just be too stupid. Can anyone advise on whatever the noob thing I'm doing wrong is? By the way, I have 3.01 loaded. Thanks in advance for help. Dave
