  1. Hey! I have searched around for info on how the Helix LT responds with drop C tunings and thought maybe easier to share my audio example to know if im going mad or not - I want to love this unit and I have tweaked away but just keep getting a really muddy sounding tone. To demonstrate, I have loaded up a default amp+cab of the Badonk, which everyone raves about, and did a basic riff to show how it seems to 'overload' and sound super fizzy. I know this is a pretty noob thing to do any loads will tell me to get an IR etc... but I just wanted to try on the basic settings as I would expect a half decent tone from that. Sounds the same on all the higher gain amops (Revv/Cali/Archetype etc - low end is mad boomy. If this were anything else i'd start looking at input levels but Helix doesnt really do that it seems. So, question is - from what you hear and your own experienced of maybe lower tunings on Helix - is this normal and just needs some serious time spent with tweaking or is something wrong here? For reference, ive run guitars with BKP Nailbomb, A '50 bridge and a Seymour Duncan Pegasus and they all sound roughly like this! Oh to add, its def not clipping on my DAW or anything. Also ound like this through the DAW, through headphones, through monitors etc... line 6 sample.mp3
