  1. Thanks for your reply and the heads up about the expression pedal, I didn’t know that. I will give the boss forums a try for the sy200 stuff!
  2. Hi everyone, I just got a Boss SY-200 to use with my Helix Floor, I haven't decided how to route the audio yet, my question concerns Midi. I'm sending program changes and control changes to the SY200 through the command center without any issue. I have also managed to use the Helix expression pedal to sweep change certain parameters in the SY200, so all good there. What I would like to do however, is setup the Helix expression pedal to act as the default expression pedal in the SY200. There's an option in the midi menu of the SY200 that sets the CC number for 'EXP', There's also another menu that lets you choose which parameter (or set of parameters, through MULTI) you'd like to change with the expression pedal (if you've got a regular one connected through a TRS-cable). I'm sending the right CC on the right midi channel with the Helix pedal, but nothing seems to happen with the parameters I've set in the other menu. Note that I've also tried a regular expression pedal on the SY200 (the Line6 EX1 i had lying around) and that also fails to work - but I think that has to do with the polarity, as the EX1 does work perfectly on the Floor. Or it could be that the expression pedal functionality in the SY200 is not working properly, but that does not seem very likely. It's not a super big deal, I can always get a dedicated expression pedal for the SY200, but I just would like to make it work. Any suggestions?
