  1. If I wind up giving this a go, I'd be happy to share. Thanks again.
  2. Thanks. I still need another output from the HX Stomp IR to either FOH or DAW. Wonder if the standard output jack on the HX would work since the FX send was being used for the return to the amp?
  3. Let's disregard the signal source/level part of the equation. Can HX Stomp (or HX Effects) process two separate input/output paths? On one path I'd like to use effects. On the other path, an IR only.
  4. Per the manual of my amp: "LINE OUT – A line level signal jack derived from the speaker output which contains the whole tone of the amplifier." Even if this wasn't the case and I was using a load box, my connectivity question stands.
  5. Is it possible to run one of these units in the loop of my amp and also run the line out of my amp into the IR section only and out to either a PA or DAW? I'd like to be able to capture the power amp stage of my amp prior to processing with an IR.
  6. Revisiting this topic. If I’m using a Ground Control Pro midi controller in the 4 preset/8 IA mode, is there a way to toggle on/off 8 discreet effects in a single preset using CCs? It seems I’m limited to FS1-FS6 though I understand you can assign more than one effect to a foot switch - that doesn’t accomplish what I’m looking for. Separately, if I have a free foot switch on mg GC Pro to access snapshots, would it have to be assigned to a specific FS on the HX?
  7. Thanks. I was probably looking for this info in the wrong way. So basically MIDI CC's (49-54) are for toggling on/off FS1 through FS6, correct?
  8. My understanding is HX Effects is capable of 9 effects in a single preset. Assuming that is correct, could I use something like a Ground Control Pro in 4 preset/8 instant access mode and toggle individual effect blocks on/off using CCs? I checked the manual and it wasn't clear to me. I don't like having gear that could be subject to drunkards falling/spilling stuff on my pedalboard, I like to keep my cables runs short whenever possible, and I like the idea of having more foot switches available at my disposal. I realize Helix Rack could be an option but I like my tube amp and using it for effects only seems overkill. Thanks for the help!
