I got an XT Live recently for free. I had an AC adaptor here with the same 2A spec as the PX2, and the Pod powered up briefly then died with a burning smell. I was able to track it to the 6800uf cap C31 which I've replaced. I also picked up a proper PX2-G but the unit is still having the same issue. I can see the capacitor starting to smoke. Is it possible the LM1086 voltage reg next to it could be the issue, as it looks like it feeds the capacitor directly?
