    Thanks. I knew that was a general truism with solid state amps but just wanted a sanity check before I pressed on.

    I have a Flextone II Plus and I'm considering on removing the chassis and installing it in a smaller cabinet to function as a poor man's POD. I plan on using the headphone jack but if I should inadvertantly power it up without a speaker connected. will that cause a problem? Thanks.
