I ve got a Diezel Hagen which has 7 pin midi in on the back. Had to get a 7 to 5 pin cable from Rocktron to connect to it. Not sure if it works exactly the same way but i just would select a preset on helix and then store a specific channel on the amp and it saved it.

MMM...I still have room for a lot more IR's at this point so no issues for me. So you're making another tone pack? I'd be curious what you could do with an Adam Jones(Tool) preset. I'm a big fan of the Heavier stuff like that. As much as i like the blue/rock presets in the pack, i really like the heavier ones.

Hey Fremen! Finally got a chance to check these out. Absolutely fantastic! I'm guessing the IR's are a combo of your own cabs and maybe some 3rd parties. this is the first time i 've used any IR's. Very impressed. This will save me so much time cause many of these will be used as templates. Just had to make some level adjustments for our practice spot/room. Keep up the great tones!

Don't think so. I took volume pedal out of some presets. I ve checked all routing on different presets. No luck. Also reset. Reverted back to firmware 1.12. Still no luck.

I ve tried so many things. I m using l6 link so i ve usually got the out set to digital. I ve tried different presets in diff setlists. Same issue. I didn't know you could mute an output. Also I always have inputs set to guitar. This happened last night. Didn't change anything. I was using helix for rythym parts in pro tools(xlr outs). All was good, went upstairs for a few minutes, came back and couldn't get any sound. Disconnected xlr s, tried playing through l3t and got same results

I created support ticket for this but im sure it doesn't hurt to ask. I have no sound coming out of helix. Tried xlr, 1/4", l6 link. Nothing. Input must be ok cause tuner is working. Tried reboot, that didn't work. Has anyone had an issue like this?

Ok. I am connected via usb form Helix to the computer. i'm using a Mac 10.9.5 0s x. I wasn't sure if there were settings that needed to be changed. TX

Following the steps in the manual on page 45 "Recording a dry DI track", i've got both tracks set up, settings correct in the helix, and tone dialed in. I see the connection/ usb routing diagram but don't understand the DAW side of it. I've got the Helix connected to an MBOX PRO using Protools 11. The manual states " Create one mono track to record the dry DI guitar, and set the track's input to Helix usb 7". Not sure how to change the tracks input. I checked the input/output setup in protools. Can anyone shed some light on this? I do have the processed tone coming out of both tracks. No dry signal out of the mono track.
