Hi Nick, I'm having the outdoor bright sunlight issue with my Line 6 FBV shortboard MKII. I know it's the hole where the pin from the pedal goes through the case of the unit. I read an article you posted in the forum but I wanted more info on the proposed solution. There was a link to the full thread, but when I clicked on it, it didnt go to the full thread and I was unable to find it anywhere.
Did the paint on the underside of the pedal fix it, or putting a piece of duct tape over the hole, or some kind of tubing inside? I would love to hear more about your ideas/experience with this problem. My band only gigs outdoors and in the summer time, so its a major problem for me. I've been using a bulky blanket to put around the pedal to block the light but its embarrassing to have to do that on stage. Please contact me back. My email address is deanotto2@gmail.com - Thanks

When I do outdoor gigs the pedal activated volume control goes haywire and is either full on (regardless of pedal position) or inconsistently on and off, it appears that it has to do with sunlight interfering with the operation of the expression pedal. I have had to use a towel over the expression pedal to block the sun for it to function correctly. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem? Thanks
