    I was not gonna run them together, just wanted to update the hd150 with the hd500 if its possible and didnt know if you could. Everything I have read about the software update for the spider talks about using the shortboard for the update.

    Hey guys, I have the pod hd500 and was thinking about getting the spider iv hd150. Was wondering if I will be able to update the software on the spider hd 150 with the pod hd500 so I will not have to buy a shortboard too!
