You we're hitting the sweet spot in the first 2 positions and it sounds great. I think all stereo mic's will do that, your limited to the design of this mic chassis. Get a mic that will record 360 degree stereo or record in mono. For the price this is a great setup.

Mine seems great for vocals anyway. Did you try mono recording just for fun?

You will get different sounds from each mic based on your position. Maybe try mono recording or hold perfectly still after you find the sweet spot for both mics for even stereo sound. Hope this helps.

With all the complaining on here I just had to say WOW this thing is legit, I'm loving it! Thank you Line 6, you guys make some sick gear! No problems on Ipad air 2 after the initial learning curve.
