It came with the current firmware on it, I turned "off" the sleep mode and tested it in my home studio walking around walls including the wall my wifi router is mounted on and had no dropouts. I'll test it at our next gig once I get a right-angle cable for the transmitter pack. I think I'll go with the Bestronics one ColonelForbin mentioned as it looks like a quality cable. http://btpa.com/L6G70R-II.html

I ordered my G70 before hearing about this. It arrives tomorrow........I hope I don't have any issues, fingers crossed!
