  2. I'm unable to provide a video mp file but have recorded & uploaded an mp3 file which will show the crackling! (switches between neck & bridge PUPS...thanks. crackle.mp3
  3. psakissian - thank you for your comment but I'm confident it's not mechanical i.e. "setup" it doesn't occur every time the strings are struck and it matters not as to how hard they are struck....very lightly or strongly....I've played this guitar for years w/o problems....it it would be beneficial, I could upload a file with that sound... If I'm to upload a file, what format? Thanks!
  4. This only occurs with mag pickups....modeling is clean. Worse with lowest strings....sound remains for 2-3 seconds and calms down to gone, then that sustain is clean...tried de-ox where I could. I've had this instrument for many years without any problems...until now..very frustrating....anyone have "the answer"? Thanks!
