    I have a 1st gen Variax 700. I upgraded my equipment to POD HD500. Is there any modifications I can do (including replacing the brains entirely) that would allow that 700 to act like a JTV? I hate having this beautiful instrument just hanging on a wall. Put differently, can I buy the brains and wiring (minus the pickups) of a JTV and transplant it to a 700?
