I am thinking about buying a used Variax 300. Only the guitar, NO cable or power supply. I was wondering if my XT LIVE will power the guitar and do i have to have a Line 6 cable?

What if you bought it used with the expansion packs already on it, is there any way to save them? Can i do a factory reset or will that wipe them off my pedal?
