  1. Hi all, a few years ago I purchased an XT Live pedal from an online store. When I took it out to test it, the expression pedal didn't work. I wrote to the seller only to find myself ghosted, and the store site said all sales were final and they wouldn't help me. I opened it up and it looked like someone had hot glued the components to the motherboard. I don't know if this is the problem or if a ribbon cable is bad, or if it's something else entirely. Because I already had a Spider IV and shortboard, I didn't bother trying to follow up. It's been sitting in my basement since 2019. I've recently been downsizing, and I decided I should try to fix it so I can sell it and move on. I paid $150 but even if I could sell it for $100 in current condition I'd just do that. But I'm going to see what I can do anyway. See the attached photos, and I'd appreciate if anyone could help me determine if this has any impact on the parts, or if it doesn't and it really could be just a bad cable or harness.
