  1. Hi all, I've been trying to do some recording through Reaper DAW. When I plug a physical Helix into the interface and record, it sounds fine. When I try to plug a guitar straight into the interface with Helix Native as a plugin(gain knob on the interface the same in both scenarios, volume knob about half on the Helix, identical patch), I not only get a lower overall volume, but significantly more string noise. What is the reason behind this? Is the Helix padding down my signal so much that its reducing all the string noise? I have the input and output at its default on Helix Native, do I need to lower the input and increase the output? The noise floor in the case of the DI'd signal is so loud by default, should I be reducing the input to the point where it disappears like the physical Helix? Thanks everyone! I tried to upload a video but its a little too big.
  2. If you can hear at about 0:03 the sound cuts in an out for a moment, this has been a recurring problem for me. I can't get it to do it consistently so thats all I can capture. Any insight into what it might be? I just bought a new cable so I doubt thats the problem. the gates and such on the POD were off. If you can kind of see on the level indicator it decays and then it jumps back up a single LED's worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
