I play in a rock four piece and we rarely mic up amps or anything except the bass drum and snare. At a normal gig I run my M13 using the 4 cable method into my fender blues deville 410. Occassionally we play in venues where the venue owners want to put us in to the house PA also to spread the sound around the venue. The position I like to put the mic at for my amp is 4-6 inches from the grille. This makes it tight on some stages.
I was hoping that I could use the right side output on the M13 directly into my pocket pod (using amp modelling with no effects on the pocket pod) and from there DI into the PA from the direct out on the pocket POD.
On the M13 I assume I will have to run a jumper from the right side FX send to the right side FX return to enable the stereo output. But in theory this should not be a problem.
Can anyone warn me in advance of any issues I may encounter here?
