Its a Lenovo laptop. I used to own a lexicon alpha interface that broke and never had any problems with that. Also don't have any problems using any other usb devices.

I just got a used gx studio, and after using it for a few minutes I keep on getting a power surge on usb port error and the gx just shuts off. I have tried different usb ports and cables. Updated usb drivers and still get same issue. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows a fix or is the gx I got just a faulty one? I can use any other items on the usb ports and have never had problems.

Thanks for the reply. And to confirm, I will get the full access to podfarm and not just some trial version right? If that is the case and I need to buy podfarm, I want to just return the gx as it wont be worth it with the price I bought. Thanks again. -
Hi, I just bought a used studio gx. I installed pod farm but I am confused about the license. Can I use podfarm or will I need to purchase that separate? How many computers can I use this device on? It seems to have worked on my laptop, but I have no idea if im in trial or if I can use this forever because of my purchase of a device? Thank you much.
