Are the L3T bags worth it??

I couldn't swallow paying $300 for bags so I ending up going with plastic trunks which are pretty big and cumbersome but offer great protection and space for cables and the speaker stands. http://www.irisusainc.com/p-589-sia-1000h.aspx
