  1. I am having difficulty connecting my Pod HD 500 to an iMac. I have installed Line 6 Licence manager but the Pod is not recognised when i 'scan for devices'. When i open HD500 edit, it is saying: "Could not detect a POD HD500 connected to your computer" so runs in offline mode. I have tried: - to connect through all 3 USB ports on the iMac - custom install omitting Monkey and midi drivers (including uninstalling and restarts) - This link below looked promising except i didn't have the error message about "System software being blocked" in System Preferences When i click on the Apple > About this Mac > System Report > Hardware > USB > It is showing the Pod HD 500. This makes me think there is something in system preferences that i might have overlooked or missed, similar to the link above? A couple of years ago, I opened a ticket as i believed the USB port on the pod was damaged, I did have this repaired my hunch is that on this occasion it might be a security setting or permission. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the replies Gents. In the 'FX Heavy' setlist, i located a couple of vocal presents on bank 16. I think there are a couple of others in there too but I really just want a clean tone. Am i missing some? Any suggestions for tweaking to get a strong signal in Logic?
  3. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for recording vocals through the Pod HD500? I realise that this isn't what it was designed for but hoping that there might be a way to make it work that i am missing. I don't have an audio interface at present and I will end up getting one eventually... But in the interim, can anyone offer any tips of set up? I've tried creating a patch and running it through Logic Pro but the signal strength is always weak. No matter what I do to beef it up, I end up with a tinny sound - equivalent to recording with a tape recorder in the old days! Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks
