Phil, I think that is a good possibility. Looking at my pic of the front, there seems to be a hint of green around the knobs. This is not so obvious from looking at the pedal in person, but shows up in the pics. -

I just bought a used Echo Park. It has a gray/tan colored faceplate instead of the usual green. Why? Is this an old model, later model, etc? Can the age/date of this pedal be determined from the serial #?
